4640 is our type of female. First and foremost, she looks the part. At 4J we appreciate females that are moderate framed with great udder structure, sound on their feet and legs and easy fleshing. These are the kind of cows that are profitable and stay in the herd for a long time. 4640 is out of a Strait Ranch cow we selected for her low BW EPD, outstanding Breed Back EPD and a Marbling EPD that easily hits our target for 4J females. Sire verification DNA has been submitted to SGBI and should be completed prior to the sale.

340 is the classic maternally focused 4J female with a balanced set of EPDs. Her indexes of 30-35-25 indicate that she will hit all industry demanded targets. Our goal at 4J is to produce females that will calve on their own, raise a healthy calf, get bred back and maintain their flesh with minimal supplementation. 340 is the type and kind of 4J female that will be a profitable addition to any operation.
