Cattle producers serious about beef production have the opportunity to enhance their cowherd’s carcass and convenience traits with a unique offering from 4 J Cattle, one of the breed’s most progressive grade up programs.  4J is selling a pick from their replacement female herd. These well balanced females are sired by the industry’s top growth and end product bulls. The heifers in this offering are bred to prospects and proven sires with a heavy focus on superior maternal and carcass traits.  The successful bidder will sort through approximately 40 Purebreds and 21 STAR 5s in order to make their selection. Industry leading sires include HCC Whitewater 9010, an Angus bull that is the perfect combination of show ring phenotype and curve bending carcass genetics and Prime Plus, a Red Angus bull that ranks in the top 2% of the Leachman $ Profit and $ Ranch indexes. SGBI’s leading marbling sires QVF Jackpot and KR Chosen One, as well as other trait leading genetics can be also found in the offering.  4J will retain the right to one IVF flush.
